MedEx Home Health is an in-home service provider that assists individuals and families. We are dedicated to helping our clients lead dignified, independent lifestyles in the comfort and safety of their own homes when faced with acute or chronic illness or when challenged by aging.
We carefully assess and fully understand their needs and selectively place trained 
personnel to meet these needs.
   
    We provide guidance, support, hourly or live-in care and private nursing services.
Our services are available in private homes, Clinics, Retirement Residences, Long Term
Care Facilities and Hospitals.

Types of Services

  • Personal Care

    •Bath & grooming • Routine skin care • Mobilization activities • Eating or feeding • Toilet and /or commode needs • Monitoring vital signs general health status • Respite and palliative care

  • Home Services

    • Housekeeping such as cleaning,vacuuming, dusting, washing floors, laundry, ironing and changing beds • Planning, cooking, and serving meals • Monitoring and motivating regular diet plans • Setting and transporting clients to appointments • Running errands and shopping for clients or transporting clients to carry out these activities. • Serving as companions and participating in friendly socialization activities • Monitoring clients' safety, comfort and welfare

  • Nursing Services

    As Community Nursing Care is generally government funded, Registered Nurses are not routinely retained on staff Occasionally, certain individuals may not qualify for assistance or they may wish to supplement their entitlement. In such situtions, we will arrange for Private Duty Nurses to provide in-home treatment, care, support and/or education.

  • In Home Assessments

    Non-medical Assessments are conducted to find clients' functioning capabilities, to identify their needs Nursing Assessments are an expanded version of the Non-medical Assessment as they more thoroughly examine and identify health conditions. In both situations, assessors may review subsidization possibilities, develop care plan, make referrals, and arrange for service delivery schedules according to the clients’ wishes

  • Mobile Specimen Collection

    We provide on-site specimen collection/ECG services in the convenience and safety of your home. Our certified Phlebotomists pride themselves on quality service and personal attention ensuring accurate, efficient and precise results for all specimens collected. Our Mobile Services Includes Specimen Collection Resting Electrocardiogram Holter Monitoring

  • Mobile Foot Care

    Our experienced foot care nurse can help you with all your foot care needs and rejuvenate your step by providing treatment from basic to advanced common foot ailments such as Calluses, Ingrown Toenails, Corns, Fungal and Diabetic Care.

  • Staffing:

    MedEx has access to an extensive network of health care professionals in numerous disciplines and can help fill short-term or long-term assignments, temporary-to-permanent positions
